Holiday Letting Service*
We let flats for owners on a holiday basis minimum 2 day maximum 18 days
We let flats for owners on a residential basis
We charge a commission of 22% for holiday lets.
The Holiday letting commission
Covers the cost of Cleaning, Linen, bed make up, Towels, Toilet rolls etc
Meeting and greeting the holiday makers and showing them around the flat,
Checking the flat on departure, All power off and safe and secure.
We notify you of any damage or repairs that are necessary, which we will rectify upon your approval
Collecting payment. We make payment to you quarterly.

Devoncoast Holidays operate a holiday & winter letting Booking Agency for flat owners in Devoncourt, and private property owners in the TQ area
The agency employed trained skilled staff:- offering,
Advertising, through our own web pages, and Commercial Booking platforms eg Booking.com, holiday publications, Brochures & Guides
Reservation control taking enquiries, to make provisional and firm bookings, controlling the ‘booking chart’ reservations for maximizing bookings and to minimise double bookings.
We take deposits payment and take payments in full
We offer payment methods, Credit and Debit card*, cheques & cash
Greeting customers on arrival, showing them around the flat, how to operate the equipment, and giving help and advice and local guide information.
Providing our holiday makers with a welcome pack, including coffee & coffee machine, cleaning cloths & washing up liquid, toilet rolls and soap, and a Linen and Towel pack.
Prices for holiday and winter letting rental are set buy us.
These tariff are competitive and designed to maximise rental income, whilst at the same time carefully considering the competition in the area.
Discount are offered, by us, to previous holiday makers, early bookers, and last minute bookings.
Discounts are also offered by Commercial Booking platforms (eg Booking.com) to their regular customers. (uncontrollable)
You may choose not to offer any discounts
Bookings are placed in a flat, by us,, with no allegiance, or favouritism or the like, to any particular flat. Each flat has its own special merit. Very often previous holiday makers request a particular flat, we try to fulfil their wish. It is advisable that holiday bookings are made through Devoncoast Holidays to try to ensure no double-bookings
Cleaning the flat after our holiday occupancy, to a very high standard, for holidays booked through Devoncoast Agency only
We do not clean the flat after your personal use.
Maintenance repairs are carried out immediately, minor failures, e.g. new light bulbs, and minor breakages, eg door locks, toilet furniture, and keys.
Wintering close-down service, securing your flat for winter, isolating water and electric supplies, for flats let by Devoncoast Holidays only.
We provide a regular inspection of the flat during the winter months
We report any maintenance problems to you that need addressing
Office and reception is open during normal office hour, including Saturdays, and during the evenings on peak arrival days, staffed by Devoncoast Holidays.
For this service we currently charge a 22% commission of the holiday or winter let income. Deductions will be taken from the rental income for charges made by Commercial Internet Platforms, *Internet Money Transfer fees (eg PayPal and Merchant Services), and Outsourced Letting Agencies. Commission and Deductions are subject to change.
Rents received are paid quarterly 30 days after the quarter end, March June Sept Dec, less commission and charges.
Additional Services provided by Devoncourt Property Services
We offer a minor internal maintenance, chargeable, service, eg. plumbing, electrical, painting and decorating emergency repairs etc.
We will contact you before undertaking any major repair or replacement i.e. new fridge. Small items e.g. tap washers, kettles will be repaired or replaced immediately and the cost will be deducted from your quarterly income.
We can provide you with full internal maintenance services eg. total or part re-decorating, replacement kitchens, toilets, showers etc.
We will provide you with full written estimate and we guarantee our work.
